What Are Our Basic Commands?
Sit
Bottom on the ground.
Down
Lay down, belly on the floor. Can get up when calm. No release word.
Lay
Lay down, belly on the floor until released.
Here
Come to me and sit.
Heel
Walk slightly behind my left leg until released. Sit when I come to a stop.
Place
Lay on an object until released.
Out
Move away from something or drop what is in your mouth. (This command canbe used for getting the dog to get out of the kitchen, walk away from someone holding a baby, drop their toy, walk away from a smell, and more!
