What Are Our Basic Commands?
"Sit"
Bottom on the ground.
"Down"
Lay down, belly on the floor. Can get up when calm. No release word.
"Lay"
Lay down, belly on the floor until released.
"Here"
Come to me and sit.
Heel
Walk slightly behind my left leg until released. Sit when I come to a stop.
Place
Lay on an object until released.
Out
Move away from something or drop what is in your mouth. (This command can be used for getting the dog to get out of the kitchen, walk away from someone holding a baby, drop their toy, walk away from a smell, and more!)
